Troubleshooting
The plugin entry does not appear
Confirm that LiSplatUnrealSDK is under the project Plugins folder, the plugin is enabled, and the editor was restarted. Confirm that the project uses UE 5.6.1.
Import fails or no asset is created
Check the file format and path. Wait for the import task to finish before the next action.
Imported data is not visible
Confirm that the LiSplatActor has a valid LOD GLSP Splat Asset. Use Center in Viewport and check Actor visibility, scale, and level state.
Orientation, size, or elevation is incorrect
Check the source CRS, axis convention, units, origin offset, and elevation datum. Preserve the source data and a project backup before making changes.
Collision is missing at runtime
Confirm that collision has been imported or generated, Enable Collision is on for the actor, and collision data loads in the running level.
Data is missing after packaging or performance is insufficient
Confirm that runtime data and external resources are included in packaging, then test on target hardware. For large scenes, first check frustum culling, LOD range, Screen Pixel Quality, dynamic filtering, and visible-count budgets.
